Recommendations!

Hey everyone,
December has been going strong so far. However, with Spain's financial situation still iffy, I wouldn't be so sure things are going to stay well. I recommend SAM because it's earning forcast is at 12 percent!

THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT

YES. Bulls rejoicing!
Dollars been easing upward -- creating an almost universal rise in stock value. Also, the number of unemployed reach a four month low. Things are starting to brighten up, everyone!

Rabbit!

Happy 1st
So world markets are tanking. Big time. Germany DAX, Britain's FTSE,  and France's CAC plunged. Bank stocks are sinking pretty fast, and I expect that to continue. I'd definitely be shorting them.

I feel like I'm going to wake up one day and look into the mirror and see the hairiest bear ever. And that's not bc I'm Indian.

Wednesday, October 20, 2010

I feel like I'm becoming a bear..

Wed. report-- specifically the Fed's Beige Book Report which said the economy is losing steam does not bode well. Bears rejoice?
I'd also recommend shorting AT&T, whose shares slipped in pre-market trading

Oh that Sarkozy

Sarkozy and Merkel say they have a solid plan for getting France's debt under control. My guess is that this will renew confidence in stockholders and value will rise. Therefore, invest in French banks like Credit Agricole, Societe Generale and BNP Paribas!

ALSO IT'S TEN-TEN-TEN :D

New month!

So my PreCal teacher told us that we should say "Rabbit" at the beginning of every month. Being investors, I think we can use all the luck we can get.. so... RABBIT!

In terms of recs, Dow is looking strong right now, coming out 42 points higher, so I think you should get on that.
Also the current devaluation of the dollar is shooting gold's value up! That's where my money is going, and yours should be too!

APPLE X2

ALMOST forgot...Iphone 4 comes out next week...actually wanting to get that..looks very very fancy
Stock will probably skyrocket - they've already started- so I would jump onto it and short it!

Thus: Recommendation = Apple (AAPL)

IBM BABY

IBM planning on buying netezza (NZ)...seems like we should hop onto it...
Short IBM.

Monday, September 6, 2010

Apple

My man Mr. Jobs is racking up the money for his corporation..
Apple seems to be doing pretty good...look to short it!

APPLE (AAPL) = WIN.

Netflix

Nothing really sticks outta the crowd too much. Netflix is rising, as it has for the past few years...so it would be something to sell long...

SO: Netflix (NFLX) for today folks...

Mittal buying US Steel!?!?

ArcelorMittal (NYSE: MT) has been increasing in value quite a bit over the past few months... and now its proposing to buy US Steel. Shocked me pretty bad...I think its a pretty good time to jump on Mittal..looks good for the next few months at least..

In other news, tomorrow happens to be one of our birthdays..
Yes we do accept goods/donations...so feel free to pour your heart out!

More recs after a while!

S&P fell 6 pts today with no end in sight. I see a shorting option here.
While Cisco shot 79 percent up since last Wed, the sales outlook was bleak and bellwether's revenue missed expectations. Don't jump in here just yet.

GM posted its second straight profitable quarter last Thursday,  but I think with Ed Whiticare leaving office, it'll sink a bit. Be cautious everyone!

Recommendaciones

Bank of America-- I'd probably jump in right now.  I think it bottomed out last week at 13 but if it doesn't close at around 14.20 each day then I'd hold off and putting in some mula.
Cisco has hit resistance at about 22.50, so if it falls below 21.90 ish I'd buy!

Bears Rejoice!

I know we had a really really rough first half of the year. I've been reading a lot lately, and apparently it's not going to get any better. Guess who just became a bear?

Let's face it, the situation in Greece and Spain isn't looking too great. I would seriously think twice before putting big money somewhere, unless of course you're shorting it!

My rec? Short S&P

Resitance

Hey everyone,
I can't stress how important it is to understand the concept of resistance--  The price at which a stock or market can trade, but not  exceed, for a certain period of time.

Understand resistance before diving into a stock!

Tuesday, June 15, 2010

More recs!

Hey guys,
AIG is looking solid right now--  resistance is at 40, so buy it below a 35
CTIC-- Avoid until it breaks past 55 cents... resistance is somewhere around there. Afterward, go for it!
RIMM is shooting back at 60! So I'd definitely jump on that

Money in the Bank

I'm back! Miss me? Finals went okay if yall were wondering. Now back to the show: Mr. Bernanke says that he doesn't think the US will fall back into a recession. I'm thinking optimism will surge the economy tomorrow?

Again, I would think banks would rise. I'd short Bank of America (BAC)/ Goldman Sachs (GS)/Citigroup (C).

Saturday, May 15, 2010

Market's wobbling pretty bad..

Market's kinda shaky right now. Bank of America (BAC) looks good to buy if it drops just a weeee bit more. Same with Citigroup (C). Other than that, I'd just hand low..

On a side note, I'll be off for a couple weeks as finals are coming up. Pray for me :)

May 6 Recommendation! Listen up!

WHEW! That 9% decrease was scaryyyyyyyy!!! Fortunately it came back its norm within a couple hours. Not really sure what to reccomend now people. European Debt Crisis is having a huge toll on us.

Citigroup Plunged!!!!!!!! BUY ITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.. ---_>>>>>> NAOWWWWWWW

An apple a day keeps the money close.

Apple (AAPL) had better than expected results last week. I would go with it for right now.

Sorry for the corny title. Didn't know what to put..

Tuesday, April 20, 2010

NOOOOOOOO

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Market was just gaining momentum. Nothing like a lawsuit against Goldman to stop it. I would suggest waiting a day or two, and then jump onto Goldman. It'll yield good profit.

So, today I suggest --> Goldman Sachs (GS)

Saturday, April 10, 2010

Optimism floods the market.

Nasdaq is nearing a 2-year high. Finally, right?

Anyways, again, I present to you Alcoa (AA) and is one of the companies reporting its resuts this week. Also, as economy rises, banks are poised to increase, so investing in banks would be my recommendation. My favorites would be: JPMorgan Chase (JPM) and Bank of America (BAC). BAC is expected to have a profit of 9cents/share, so I highly recommend this.

Saturday, March 27, 2010

Sigh..

So I know the market's been cowering in the face of Portugal's credit rating and renewed concerns about the global economy. I'm going to try to use the very miniscule influence I have as an analyst to tell everyone to relax.  Stocks will continue to recede among the panics. I wouldn't expect them to go anytime soon, but with everyone withdrawing money, there's going to be a greater fall.

Today's recommendation - March 18, 2010

Today's recommendation:  Aloca Inc. (Public, NYSE: AA)

Alcoa has been rising quite fast in the past few weeks, and I think it will continue to rise for some more. In addition, oil companies such as ExxonMobil seem like a valuable investment as OPEC is agreeing to keeping its oil exports steady.

Spring Break

Hey guys,
So sorry for the wait. Spring/ Break festivities last all day. There ain't to party like an Indian party because an Indian party has a mean age of about 49. Save me?
I'll get back to y'all shortly!

More rec's!

Happy Monday everyone (oxymoronic much?),
I recommend getting into CNX, it's looks like it's heating up.  AYI's too volatile to tell, but I'd probably short it seeing as they haven't been doing too well lately and haven't seen any improvements. And if you don't listen to anything else, PLEASE invest in WLT. Those guys are only going up!

Valentines!

Hey everyone,
Hope you're all enjoying Valentine's day with your special someone. Or by yourself. That's cool too. Have a great one, guys!

Thursday, February 11, 2010

February 9th

Hey everyone, I wanted to talk about how some stocks did today. While Cisco has gone down for the 4th quarter, I think it's no longer the time to short because revenue growth and adjusted earnings did meet with Cisco’s estimates. The Whole Foods Market is doing superbly right now, reporting stellar fiscal Q1 profit that soared 61%.  I recommend shorting Akamai Technologies as it seems to be getting worse and worse.

Tuesday, February 2, 2010

Ford!

Short Ford.
Short Ford.
Short Ford.
Short Ford.
Short Ford.
Do it.

I don't see a recovery from the 17 percent drop at any point in the near future.

Apologies

Hey everyone,
I wanted to apologize for not posting for the past months. One of my close Houston relatives was seriously ill and everything ceased to matter. He's much much better now; still spends the days in the hospital :/
I'm going to get updated and get back to everyone.

Monday, January 25, 2010

Today's recommendation - January 25, 2010

Today's recommendation would be: Intel (NASDAQ: INTC  )

Intel raised its dividend by 15% and will buy back shares worth ~$10 billion in order to reward investors. Other recommendations include: MCD, whose earnings matched their expectations, is also expected to rise.

Good looking Tech Companies

Hey everyone,
So while HP is down 36 from 50, I'm expecting a rebound due to the acquisition of Electronic Data Systems-- so that's something y'all should look at. Other good looking tech companies are IBM, Dell, Lexmark
